Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has up about how she was raised in the "white bubble" and how the realization has affected how she parents her adopted multiracial children. The actress from "Firefly Lane" spoke to a reporter that it didn't matter the color of her skin to her. But after having a conversation with her Korean-American adopted older sister she realized the difference in the way people were treated by her. "I inquired of Meg what she thought about being that she was treated differently when going out with us parents than those who went out on her own. She answered, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl spoke to Parents about the moment she realised the naivety of her actions. She admitted that she was mad, but she felt that she had to channel this anger to help her daughters. Heigl shares a son of 4 years and Josh Kelley, her husband over the last 13 years. They were adopted by Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. followed by Adalaide whom was eight years old young and Black as of 2012.
